Finding Your True Passion
FYI, I am terrified of horses. However, my daughter melts right into the scenery, as if she is born with the passion to gallant away on her horse to a special place no one knows of. As a teenager, my true passion begins with fashion, makeup, and current hairstyles. I visualize working in department stores and selling different clothing lines when dreaming of my future. As a member of the modeling and casting agency while working for many stores in the local mall. I wanted to travel to New York and see the big Macy’s department store with the artistic windows. Who knew, maybe I might move there one day. After beginning college, life takes me in a different direction because of paying the bills. Fashion is still a major role in my life as I move into the business world. Having an autoimmune disorder sure can put a damper on Living Your Passion. One must recalculate people, places, and things while revamping future dreams. Maybe taking a different route is not such a bad thing after all when Living Your Passion!
Being Careful Of Your Surroundings
Depending on how strenuous Living Your Passion is, difficulties become a roadblock. Riding a horse is a perfect example. I explained in other posts how symptoms occur when one least expects them too. You will learn quickly what your body can handle. Riding at a slow pace may create tranquility, and help release stress factors in your life. However, if you are riding in a club or participating in horse shows, symptoms consisting of body tremors, heart palpitations, and dizziness can happen because of speed and jumping. I need to avoid circumstances leading to unpleasant symptoms because each time I have an episode, it takes longer for me to bounce back. If I have several days in a row of such events, I will become fiscally ill. The recovery time is extremely stressful due to functioning with daily tasks. Even being a passenger in a vehicle is traumatic to me. If the driver is going too fast, or I feel the vehicle is too close to an object, my heart will race. I like being the driver or riding in the back seat behind the driver. This sounds silly but my day becomes destructive if I am not careful of surroundings.
Remaining In A Calm Environment
Animals may become a peaceful aspect of your life. However, people are a different story. While Living Your Passion, you will find some people trigger symptoms off. I like to stay in a calm environment. I try exercising consideration of the feelings and emotions of other people. Did you ever find yourself in a conversation, where the person has a voice sounding like a barking dog? The vibration in my head starts ringing, which leads to symptoms coming alive. My voice becomes louder, and it is clear that an argument is in the making. Some people just don’t understand the nature and struggle of Graves Disease. Living Your Passion, and continuing on with a normal life is a challenge every day for me. Finding a great support system with family and friends is so important. Sometimes, you simply need to remove what is negative in your life, at least temporarily until your body feels recuperated moving toward remission.
Reaching For Your Dreams
Whatever Living Your Passion means to you, create stable surroundings. Even if you have to make changes in how you handle your passion, give yourself time. Your body needs a chance to recover. You didn’t get to this place overnight, and you will need time to heal and become healthy. If you can’t ride the horse, then go and visit the horse. Who knows, in time you might own the horse and you can ride when you want. Reach for your dreams, and never give up because the choice belongs to you. One day, I am going to get on a horse and try to conquer my fears. Riding isn’t my real passion, but I enjoy taking pictures and viewing the beauty of how my daughter connects in life to her true passion. Creating such peace instills hope for me to handle my future endeavors. I want people to reach out and share experiences so we can all face this journey as a team.
